Candlemass Vigil – Cancelled
We are sorry to announce that the Candlemass Vigil due to take place 31st January 2010 at 1830hrs has been cancelled due to a change of schedule at the Cathedral. We confirm that a concert will be taking place instead to raise funds for the Haiti disaster.

Merry Christmas from the Nave Choir
Merry Christmas! More media from the Christmas Carol Service will be uploaded in due course. Don’t miss the midnight mass at the cathedral which will be sung by the Nave Choir. Also, members of the Nave Choir will be attending the live BBC1 Christmas Day Eucharist from the cathedral!

Chester Cathedral Nave Choir visited St. Mary’s, Weaverham on Sunday 10th May at 18:30 to sing choral evensong. The order of service included:

The Brahms was the early 1871 London version with piano duet accompaniment. Soloists were Becky Hay and Ed Hartwell Jones
